Jonathan Frakes and Patrick Stewart join Ed Speleers in a new clip from the upcoming episode of ‘Star Trek: Picard’.

The long awaited one Star Trek: Picard Season 3 premiered last week with an incredible episode that reintroduced several members of our favorite Enterprise crew as well as some new faces. The season began with retired Admiral Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) jumps into action when Beverly Crusher receives a coded distress call (Gates McFadden), a close friend whom no one has seen in over 20 years.

Naturally, Picard gathers one of his most trusted allies, Will Riker (Jonathan Frakes), to help in this dangerous rescue mission. When the two manage to board his ship they find Beverly in critical condition on a medical ship and come face to face with a son (Ed Speelers) they had no idea he had. As part of Fan Fest 2023, IGN He revealed a new clip from this week’s episode that picks up shortly after the end of episode 1, “The Next Generation,” which revealed the ship hunting Beverly and her son.

In the new clip, Riker, Picard, and Beverly’s son find themselves between a rock and a hard place as they assess the power of Beverly’s very old — badly damaged — ships and the menacing ship that’s bearing down on them. Between a dwindling energy source and an enemy with weapons that would ensure their destruction, this trio will have to get creative if they want to escape. Although Picard’s instinct is to negotiate, he may have to lead Beverly’s son to a different perspective to save his life.

What can Star Trek fans look forward to? Picard Season 3 Episode 2?

Recently, showrunner Terry Mattress He sat down with Collider’s Maggie Lovitt to unpack the first episode, and was able to tease a bit about the next episode by saying, “You’ll definitely meet the young gentleman at the end of that episode right away, and you’ll meet the captain of that scary starship at the end.”

While we’ve already seen the return of McFadden, Stewart and Frakes, Season 3 is also on the way Marina Sirtis As Deanna Troi, LeVar Burton As Geordi La Forge, Michael Dorn As Worf, Brent Spiner as a flower Jeri Ryan Like Seven of Nine, and Michelle Hurd Like Raffi. Tony winner Amanda Plummer will play the season’s big bad, Vadic, Picard and Co. We can assume that he will be the captain of the ship that he is crossing.
